Contact TickrMeter support for the correct firmware file before starting a manual update. Use the file supplied for your device.
Keep your TickrMeter plugged into power throughout the update.
1. Get the firmware file
Download the file provided by support to your phone or computer.
2. Start hotspot mode
Disconnect TickrMeter from its current Wi-Fi by switching that network off or moving the unit out of its range. Restart TickrMeter so it enters hotspot mode.
3. Connect to TickrMeter
In your phone or computer’s Wi-Fi settings, connect to the network named TickrMeter.
4. Upload the firmware
While connected to the TickrMeter hotspot, open http://192.168.4.1/update in your browser. Select the firmware file supplied by support and press Update Device. Wait a few minutes for the update to finish.
5. Reconnect to your Wi-Fi
After the update completes, reconnect TickrMeter to your regular Wi-Fi network. See the setup guide if you need help.
